South Texas Comic Con is the Rio Grande Valley’s major pop culture event. It’s a three-day weekend at the McAllen Convention Center built around cosplay, voice-actor and celebrity guests, comics, and a vendor and artist floor. For fans in the Valley it’s the closest large-scale con without a drive to San Antonio or Houston.
