Bell County Comic Con is a two-day, family-friendly expo in Belton, between Austin and Waco. It brings comics, pop culture, gaming, movies, and fantasy under one roof, with artists, vendors, cosplay contests, celebrity guests, and panels. It’s a good pick for families around Killeen, Temple, and Fort Hood who want a full con experience without driving into a big city.
When it happens
The show is an early August weekend at the Bell County Expo Center complex. The official site lists August 7–8, 2027 and says 2027 tickets open January 1, 2027. The organizer’s site refers to the venue by both its older name (Cadence Bank Center) and a newer one (Huntington Bank Expo). The address, 300 W Loop 121, is the same either way.
Tips
- Doors are typically 10 a.m.–6 p.m. both days.
- August in Central Texas means triple-digit heat, so keep cosplay and kids hydrated walking in from the lot.
