AggieCon started in 1969 and bills itself as the longest-running student-run fan convention in the world. Texas A&M students organize it on the second floor of the Memorial Student Center. It has grown into an anime-forward fan con with a dealers’ room, artist alley, TCG and video game tournaments, a cosplay contest, panels, and performances. 2026 was its 55th edition.
When it happens
The dates float between late January and early March. 2026 ran January 31–February 1, and the official site lists March 6–7, 2027.
