QuakeCon
Bethesda and id Software's legendary bring-your-own-computer LAN party and gaming festival, every August at the Gaylord Texan.
QuakeCon is the long-running gaming festival from Bethesda and id Software, famous for its massive bring-your-own-computer (BYOC) LAN, where thousands of players set up rigs and game around the clock. Around the LAN you’ll find tournaments, developer panels, sponsor exhibits, and giveaways. It has been a fixture at the Gaylord Texan in Grapevine for years.
When it happens
QuakeCon is an early-to-mid August event, usually Thursday through Sunday. The 2026 edition ran August 6–9. The 2027 dates haven’t been announced.
