Anime North Texas
"The DFW Anime Convention": a summer weekend of anime fandom, cosplay, and programming at the Westin DFW Airport in Irving.
Anime North Texas, “The DFW Anime Convention,” is a summer hotel-style anime con at the Westin Dallas Fort Worth Airport, which also serves as the official convention hotel. Hotel cons have a different feel from the convention-center giants: tighter, social, and full of late-night programming. ANT also has a mobile app (iOS and Android) for the schedule.
When it happens
Anime North Texas runs in early August. The 2026 edition was August 7–9. The 2027 dates haven’t been announced.
Tips
- Staying at the Westin puts you steps from panels. Rooms usually go fast once the block opens.
- It’s right by DFW Airport, an easy fly-in con for out-of-state fans.
